Take a look at the many CSGO accounts for sale provided by U7BUY. Factions play an important part in CSGO 2 and its gameplay. There are two sides, which are Terrorist and Counter-Terrorist. However, both sides have their own mini multiple factions with their own descriptions and themes.

The Terrorist side has 9 different factions included in the game. The basic factions are the Anarchist, Balken, Elite Crew, Phoenix Connexion, Pirate, Professional, and Separatist. It’s also important to note that factions can no longer be manually picked before or during a game, making the faction choice random.

While the basic Terrorist factions are the default, there are also the Agent factions. This includes the Guerilla Warfare and Sabre groups. The difference between the default and Agent factions are that the Agents are a replacement for the default in a way. This is specifically seen with the models of the characters, as they are more detailed with more accessories comparatively.

There are plenty of Terrorist factions that were also cut from the final game. These include the Artic Avengers, Cultural Revolutionaries, Entrenched, Freedom Fighter, Freelancers/Yakuza, Insurgents, Intifada, and finally the Jungle Marxist. Many of these factions including the ones that are already included in-game are based on either real life groups, or different cultures and environments in the world.

Now for the Counter-Terrorists. Counter-Terrorists have 11 factions currently in the game. The default factions are the FBI, GIGN, GSG-9, IDF, SAS, SEAL Team 6, and the SWAT. Lots of these factions if not all are based off real life government organizations, with the most iconic with American players in particular being the FBI and SWAT.

The Agent factions that are used as the replacements for the default Counter-Terrorists contain way more than the Terrorists. There are four instead of two this time with the Brazilian 1st Battalion, Gendarmerie Nationale, KSK, and the USAF TACP. Many of these such as the Brazilian 1st Battalion were included with different collection packs in CSGO.

For the Counter-Terrorist factions that were cut from CSGO, there are this time a bit less than for the Terrorist. Now there is only five for now, which include the Contractor, Georgian Riot Police, MPSSC, PLA, and the UEI. Some of these factions such as the Contractor had the potential for interesting descriptions. The Contractor was actually meant to be a group of mercenaries hired by governments around the world!

Lots of these factions have quite interesting and sometimes in depth descriptions. While there isn’t too much information out there for the factions that were cut from the game, there is still some hinted or found information that describes the potential that these factions had.
